The?Telework Research Network has posted that?highlights some of the many benefits of telecommuting (or teleworking) just one day a week (Not sure what the difference is between these two terms? Find out from Jack Nilles, who coined them).
Among the interesting stats:
Working from home results in a 10%-20% increase in employee productivity.76% of telecommuters are more willing to put in extra time on work.Telecommuters report having 25% less stress and 80% say they have a better work-life balance.Just one day of telecommuting could be the equivalent of taking 77,000 cars off the road for a year.You can see the whole infographic at Telework Research Network.
