HTC One X Joins the One S on Vodafone Contract Deals

Two of the new HTC 'One' series smart phones have now been released in the UK on the Vodafone network, the high specification HTC One X and mid-range One S now have pay-monthly contract deals for consumers to order.

The new 'One' series has also given birth to a third, lesser specification device known as the HTC One V which sits in the budget range of smart phones, the One X is by far the most advanced handset of the three offering quad-core processing technology and an impressive feature set.

HTC One X deals on Vodafone start with line rental charges at £20.50 per month and a free handset is available with contract offers of £33.50 line rental and above, this is on the Vodafone 500 tariff which allocates 500 minutes of calls, 500 MB of data and unlimited text messages to use every month.

The slightly cheaper HTC One S comes in free of charge at £26 line rental per month on the Vodafone 100 tariff which provides 100 minutes of calls, 250MB of data and 500 SMS, however this may not be enough for an average user who may need to opt for the next tariff up the scale at £31 per month which includes 300 minutes of calls.

Both of these new smart phones pack the same 8 mega pixel camera and a dedicated imaging chip for extra features and speed, the camera can record video clips at a full 1080p resolution and uses BSI sensor technology for capturing high quality pictures even in poor light conditions.

A new feature exclusive to the new 'One' phone range is the inclusion of the facility to actually capture still photos whilst either recording video or in playback mode, the One X model is the only one of the three new handsets which also allows for HD playback thanks to its more advanced display.

Sporting a 4.7 inch, 720 x 1280 pixel touch screen the HTC One X offers one of the largest displays on the market, only the Samsung Galaxy Note at 5.3 inches beats this size and it is equalled by the HTC Sensation XL and Titan models.

Running all of this technology is an industry leading quad-core 1.5GHz processor with 1GB of RAM whilst the mid-range HTC One S opts for a dual-core 1.5GHz chip similar to that of the Sony Xperia S, the One X also boasts 32GB of internal flash memory compared with the smaller 16GB of the One S and 8GB of the budget One V.

All three new 'One' series phones feature HTC's recently acquired Beats Audio technology which greatly enhances the listening experience through both the included branded earphones and the external speaker systems of the phones, they also all share the same connectivity options including fast 3.5G data support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS with turn by turn satellite navigation.

Another shared feature of all of the new HTC 'One' range is that they all run on the Android 4.0 operating system of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus known as 'Ice Cream Sandwich', this further improves on the 2.3 instalment with a faster and smoother user experience as well as a host of new features.

This latest network release for the HTC One X and One S smart phones has created a good volume of new contract deals for consumers to choose from, further network releases are expected for both phones in the near future.
