Comparing The Samsung Galaxy Note And The Samsung Galaxy S3

The Korean tech giant Samsung is known for doing amazing things with their products. Imagine them coming up with a projector phone and a hybrid device (Phone and Tablet). I am truly in awe of what this Korean tech giant is trying to do for them to serve us better. In this article, I will compare two of their best products. One of them may be older by months and the other one is relatively new. I am talking about the Samsung Galaxy Note and the Samsung Galaxy S3. I will start my comparison note with the Galaxy Note followed by the Galaxy S3. Read on!

Let us start with the processors and memory storage capacity. The Note packs a Dual-Core ARM Cortex-A9 processor which clocks at an amazing speed of 1.4GHz. It also packs a 16GB and 32GB worth of memory and 1GB worth of RAM. You can add more memory storage via its microSD card slot (as much as 32GB). This handset also ships with an additional 2GB microSD card. The S3 packs a Quad-Core Cortex-A9 processor which clocks at 1.4GHz. You will also get 16/32/64 GB memory storage on this handset backed up with 1GB worth of RAM. And if the above memory storage capacity is not enough for you, then you can always add more via its microSD card slot. You can add 64GB more worth of memory storage on this handset. For packing a powerful Quad-Core processor and more memory capacity options the S3 deserve a good two point.

Let us now move on to display screens. The Note packs a whopping 5.3" Super AMOLED touch screen with a screen resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels and pixel density of 285 ppi. The S3 on the other hand packs a 4.8" Super AMOLED touch screen with a screen resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels and pixel density of 306 ppi. When it comes to owning a larger display screen, the Note deserves a good one point. When it comes to packing more screen resolution the Note gets another good point. However, when it comes to packing higher pixel density the S3 deserves a good one point as well.

Let us now talk about cameras. The Note packs an 8MP shutter packing 3264 x 2448 pixels and it can shoot videos at 1080 pixels (full-HD) and can shoot at 30 frames per second. It also comes in with a 2MP front-facing shutter. The S3 packs an 8MP shutter as well and it packs the same pixel resolution (3264 x 2448p). This can also shoot videos at 1080p (full-HD) and at 30 frames per second as well. This handset ships with 1.9MP front-facing shutter. They both get one good point each for packing the same camera and resolution. However, the Note gets another good point for packing a 2MP front-facing shutter.

To sum up my comparison note, the Samsung Galaxy Note received 4 good points while the Samsung Galaxy S3 received 4 good points as well. As you can see, Samsung is known for giving us nothing but great handsets. Both of these handsets received an equal score in my book.
