Will the Android Tablet Surpass the Apple iPhone?

The question on everyone's mind is if the Android tablet will surpass the Apple iPhone? Many experts and lay people feel that the Android tablet is already taking Apple by surprise. The Android tablet is a highly innovative and cutting edge device that is sweeping people off of their feet. Here are some quotes that seem to back up the idea of Android zooming past the Apple iPhone:

Android is definitely is a hit out on the market and it is getting a lot of attention.
A strong comparison between Android and Apple will take place.
Android will continue to move in on Apple's shadow
Apple has dependability that cannot be matched.
Android is more diversified.

Also, even though it seems as though these two phones are so similar that they are almost alike, if you look a little closer look you can see some definite differences. Apple is the maker of the iPhone so it just stands to reason that they have a few advantages here, but also Android is powered by Google's hardware as one of their options. But if you are looking for a simpler phone Apple would be your best bet.

Apple also offers way more apps than the Android. Even though Apple tends to bit too strict when it comes to what apps they will allow on their iPhone. Google however is a bit easier going when it comes to what apps Android can have. Many critics have said that they feel there is far too much attention put on the fact that Android is so accepting of applications.

Another aspect about Apple that makes it such a great option is the fact that they have become gaming leaders. Some people have predicted that Apple may even surpass companies like Nintendo and Sony in the future. They have become a superior platform for tens of thousands of cool games.

Both of these cool phones of course have internet capabilities and are both equipped with built-in GPS. Android has an advantage here in that it offers turn by turn spoken navigation. The iPhone doesn't run a Flash program, although android boasts of the fact that it does. Even though in some respects this is a major plus some people have said the Flash program doesn't run very well on Android's tablet as it should.

In summary, if you are into having tons of choices, then android is the best phone for you. Android works with four major US phone carriers although iPhone is only offered on three. Even though many people love having so many innovative options, if you are looking for a simpler make of iPhone that will hold a charge Apple continues to be the winner hands done. Check into the two of them today online and see which one would interest you the most. It is all a matter of personal choice and style.

Other than the friends and family, there are so many things that are dependent on reaching a person in time. Thanks to the current development in technology, reaching out to a person is just a matter of a few seconds. With cell phones and telephones being more accessible than ever, everyone can stay connected with anyone and at all times. The times are fraught with danger and you have to be sure at all times that your loved ones are safe. A home phone is the best way to ensure the safety of your family. Especially if you have young kids, you would want to contact them at different times of the day when you and your spouse are at work.

It becomes all the more important to have them in touch with you in case a medical emergency arises. A cell phone might not be a financially feasible option in every case. For the kids, you'd have to get a cell phone for each one. And, you might not feel comfortable giving your children cell phones at a young age. For the elderly, they might not be very comfortable with the latest technologies. In both of these cases the best option is a home phone connection.

There are now government assistance programs that help you afford a home phone connection at a reduced price. With the help of these programs it becomes possible to afford a home phone landline without spending too much on them. With the help of the Lifeline government assisted home phone, one can stay in touch with their family at all times no matter what.

Getting a Cell Phone Contract With No Credit Check

Getting a cell phone contract requires checking your credit history. Companies would want to know if you are capable of making payments on time.

What if you do not have a nice credit history?

Do not fret because you are not the only one in the world with a bad credit history. A lot of people have been delinquent in their loan and credit card payments and so the low credit scores. Different people have different reasons why they have bad credit scores. The reasons could range from unemployment to recession. And sometimes, it is just plain negligence on the part of the borrower.

When you know you do not have a good record of credit, you doubt your chance of approval. It can be pretty embarrassing too when you are disapproved because of a bad credit rating. This could mean you do not possess the integrity they are looking for in a borrower. They do not think you are capable to pay, so they denied the application.

If you do not have a good credit standing, you can still avail a cell phone service. There are ways and means in which you can secure a cell phone service without getting through credit check or even if you have a bad credit. There are companies that offer other options for people who have bad credit. You may be asked to provide some sort of security like a cash deposit.

Verizon requires you of about $400 as a security deposit. This is not refunded in cash, but the amount will revert back to your account after one year. Although $400 is quite a bit, you can take consolation that once this is credited into your account, you will not be paying the service in awhile.

Sprint also imposes the same policy; only that the security deposit is cheaper. You only need $125 and they will give back the amount by writing your check after one year.

T-Mobile has the highest charge for security deposit. You need to cough up $500 in order to have the service.

You may want to double-check with each cell phone provider regarding the amount of the security deposit as price changes without prior notice.

Another way in which you can have a cell phone even with a bad credit is to have someone open an account for you under their name. It is in the understanding that someone agreeing to this kind of set up is someone close to you or is a member of the family. Also, you can have someone co-sign the contract with you instead of opening an account in their name. This should be someone you can trust and someone who trusts you in return. There are cases that in the event that you cannot pay, the co-signer may have to answer for you. However, you need to make sure that you do your part in paying for the service plan so that you do not ruin relationships over a cell phone contract gone delinquent.

Driving With a Mobile Phone Is Less Dangerous Than Driving While on Medication

Many people are asking if it is really safe to use mobile phones while driving. Statistics show that those who send messages or take phone calls while driving put themselves at a higher risk to meet accidents than those who do not. Research shows that this is caused by lack of attention directed towards driving. Instead the driver is focused more on punching the keys on the mobile phone or the conversation with the person on the other line.

If it is for the sake of public safety, then yes it would suffice to enforce a rule that says ban the use of mobile phones in order to lessen the occurrence of accidents on the road. However, if we think about it further, there may be some people who are capable of driving and handling a phone call at the same time. Some people are zoned out due to their medications and may not react as quickly as others would.

Some people say that the best test for driver safety is one's reaction time to the most stressful and high pressure situations on the road and while driving. This can be a phone call or a road hazard; it can be anything at all. With this in mind, there really are some people who should not drive at all because of their poor reaction time. They can pose a danger to other drivers and event o pedestrians.

While it may be helpful to ban the use of mobile phones while driving because research and statistics prove that they do not contribute to efficient driving, it may also be imperative that drivers who may have slow reaction times be banned as well.

Driving tests should include reaction time and those who cannot pass this aspect of the test should not be granted a driver's license. Think about it: people with slow reaction times are far more dangerous than those who carry mobile phones.

Those who take lots of prescription drugs tend to react slowly to different stimuli because their bodies feel the side effects of the drugs. This would mean that people who take a lot of medications for their illnesses may need to lay off driving for their safety and for the safety of the public. They are indeed much more dangerous compared to those who are using their mobile phones while driving.

Tip: Purchase a hands-free kit to keep your life safe as well as others.

Benefits Of Getting All Your Home Services In A Bundle

Getting a good deal on all our home services is more important to us now than ever before. Most of us use the internet on a daily basis, so we value speed and reliability. Also, since the digital switchover is currently taking place, we expect a high quality digital TV service too. A great value home phone service is also a must-have for many households.

With this in mind, many providers offer a range of bundles that come with a great deal of benefits. One of the main benefits to a bundle is the money you will save. Taking all three essential services from one provider means that you can make significant savings, as bundles are always the best value for money. It's also a much simpler way of getting your home services, as opposed to signing up to different providers. Another huge benefit of taking a bundle is the ease of payment. With everything rolled into one bill at the end of every month, there's a lot less hassle.

Many of the leading providers - such as Sky, BT and Virgin Media - offer a range of bundles that would suit both high and low budgets. What's more, if you join as a new customer there's usually big savings to be made if you sign up online. So if you're a confident internet user, this is always an option worth checking out.

When signing up to a bundle with a service provider, you can usually choose from several options that have already been created with certain budgets and viewing preferences in mind. While these are great options, there's always an opportunity to build your bundle. Most service providers have these tools on their website, as they are designed to ensure the customer pays the right amount for what they need. So if the option is there, it's a great way to have more control over your monthly subscription.

Most basic bundles are priced at around £20 per month. This is a great price considering you're getting three vital services. However, it's also worth noting that line rental is always charged on top of this, as will any specific extras that might be added to your subscription - like specialist channels or HD services. One of the lowest priced line rental options out there right now is Sky Line Rental. Sky Line Rental is currently priced at £12.25 per month, which is great value for money. BT Line Rental is also very reasonably priced, coming in at £14.60 per month.

If paying for line rental every month doesn't appeal to you, there are great ways to save money if you know where to look. For example, BT Line Rental can now be paid for with a one-off payment rather than every month. Their Line Rental Saver scheme is designed to make line rental a whole lot cheaper, and you can save £55.20 per year if you choose to pay in this way. This means that you'll be paying just £10 per month - making it the cheapest available option.

A wide range of service provider are available in the market offering an equally wide range of packages. Home phone sign up acts as a common platform to compare the various packages of several providers. Visit http://www.homephonesignup.co.uk/ and check out the latest best package which suits you the most.

Emergency Cell Phones For Teens

As a parent of teenagers, one of the challenges that you will face daily is worrying about your children; their whereabouts and most especially their safety. More often than not, parents often worry that if an emergency happens, they would be unable to reach their children immediately or vice-versa. Since most children these days are driving a second hand car, parents constantly worry that the car could break down at any time or a road accident might happen. To address their worries, parents now realize that the only way for their children to contact them in case of any emergency is through the use of a cell phone.

Mobile phones are a fantastic way to get in touch with one another, especially in emergency situations; However, cell phones aren't cheap, especially traditional contract plans. It would be quite unrealistic and expensive for parents to get their teenagers separate contract plans just for an emergency. Another downside is that there is always the possibility of one of the kids racking up expensive non-emergency related phone calls or text messages on the phone. In which case, the parents have to pay all those outrageous over the minute charges or suffer having a blow on their credit score. Being teenagers, well, let's just say that it is kind of hard to trust their judgment entirely on what is an emergency call and what is not.

More parents are now realizing that there is indeed a way to get their teenage kids a phone without having to risk paying huge monthly fees. The answer is prepaid cell phones. With the use of prepaid cell phones, parents can get each of their children cell phones with corresponding prepaid minutes. That way, the teenagers can simply leave the cell phone in their glove compartment and forget about it until an emergency situation arises. Younger kids can each have a cell phone handy in their backpacks as well for emergency cases, situations where they need to contact their parents, or call for help immediately.

Prepaid phone plans are a fantastic solution to the parents' problems because parents are able to control the minutes that they buy for their kids. With prepaid plans you pay for minutes before you use them. That way there are no surprises at the end of the month. How convenient is that? With prepaid plans there are no hidden fees, no hidden charges, and no over minute fees. The children kids can use up the minutes when they need to and the parents just reload the minutes every month.

Prepaid phones are a sure fire way to make sure that your children can contact you in an emergency situation without having to worry about any bills or huge fees. Indeed, prepaid cell phones are the way to go if you want a no frills phone, reliable service, and an inexpensive service plan without paying outrageous amounts of money.

Is Android Operating System More FUN Than Apple IOS?

Today we are asking the question - "Is Android Operating System more fun than Apple iOS?"

The latest android operating system is called Ice Cream Sandwich! They could have been more technical, and called it AOS4 like Apple calls their OS for iPhone - latest version iOS5.1. Just doesn't sound as fun as "Ice Cream Sandwich" or "Gingerbread" a previous version of their Android Operating System.

Android Operating System

Google's acquisition of Android Inc in 2005 had the Android Operating System being called robot names in internal releases (Astro & Bender). Allegedly changed to desserts to avoid trademark issues.

So Cupcake 1.5 was born. Before evolving in to Gingerbread, we had Donut, Eclair and Froyo.

As the Android Operating System grew up we got Honeycomb, although personally I think Huckleberry Pie would have been a better choice!

The question remains "Is Android more fun than Apple?" Apple's operating system is only supported by devices sold by Apple, their Apps go through a much more rigorous approval process than Google's before being hosted in the iTunes Store. Android Operating System is an open source OS, used by many manufactures from all over the world to produce Smart Phones and Tablets with many different designs. No one Android Phone manufacturer has managed to compete with Apple's iPhone in terms of number of units sold - iPhone is currently selling about 375000 units per day!

Android has about 500000 sales per day and climbing!

Apple makes it's income from producing quality (and some would argue expensive) products with it's exclusive iOS. Google on the other hand has never been a manufacturing company, but rather has a web presence that is unrivaled by any other company in the world! They saw, in my humble opinion, a huge market that was just beginning to emerge back in 2005 - The Mobile Smart Phone/Tablet. They knew it would be the next step for not only Cell Phones, but also the WorldWideWeb! Everybody would want to be Mobile and connected!

Google needed a way to play in this huge market, so they did what they have done all along, provide a free platform, and make their profits from Advertising, after all, that is the Google way!

Android may not be more fun than Apple, but the images are a lot cooler!

What do you think? Do you like Androids images? Is Apple's image more appealing?

Valentines Mobile Gift - Pink Samsung Galaxy S2 or Pink Nokia Lumia 800?

Valentines day is just around the corner and two mobile phone manufacturers have just launched two new pink smart phones just in time, Samsung have released their Galaxy S2 in pink whilst the pink Nokia Lumia 800 has also now hit the market.

So which of these new pink phones should you buy for your pink gadget loving girl?

Samsung Galaxy S2 Pink

The new pink edition Galaxy S2 offers exactly the same high-end features found in the first black version plus the recently released white Samsung Galaxy S2 model, this means a very fast 1.2GHz dual core processor, an 8 mega pixel camera with 1080p full HD video support, Android 2.3 operating system and an amazing Super AMOLED Plus touch screen measuring 4.3 inches.

Nokia Lumia 800 Pink

The latest pink colour scheme of the Lumia 800 also replicates the features from the phones in the rest of the Nokia Lumia 800 range, this includes a speedy 1.4GHz processor, an 8 mega pixel camera that can capture 720p HD video, the new Windows Phone 7.5 operating software and a 3.7 inch Super AMOLED curved touch screen display with ClearBlack technology.

If this was purely down to features then the pink Samsung Galaxy S2 would definitely win the day but we need to look at price, exact colour and operating systems before making the final decision, the pink Nokia Lumia 800 is cheaper with a pay monthly contract deal with offers for a free phone starting from just £18.50 per month.

Deals for a free Galaxy S2 in pink start from £21.50 per month which works out to an extra £72 over the minimum 24 month contract period.

When it comes to the actual colour of these two phones the Nokia wins out with a much nicer hue of pink, the Galaxy S2 is a deeper, duller colouring which may not appeal to as many female consumers, the design of the phones is also important and although the Samsung model is slimmer with a bigger screen and better technology the Nokia Lumia phone does look a little more stylish.

Now for the operating systems, the Android 2.3 of the Galaxy S2 uses an icon based platform which is now very well-known and also found on the iOS5 of the iPhone 4S, the new Lumia 800 running the Windows Phone 7.5 software looks and feels a lot more modern and uses 'tiles' throughout the menu system.

Although new to the market, the Windows Phone system does seem to almost interact with you as opposed to hiding things away for you to find, this said, the Samsung Galaxy S2 has been promised the update to the new Android 4.0 OS soon which is only currently available inside the new Samsung Galaxy Nexus.

So overall, if it's technology, speed and a larger screen that you are after then the extra price of the pink Galaxy S2 shouldn't put you off, however for those looking for something a little different which oozes style on a budget then the pink Nokia Lumia 800 ticks these boxes.

If you would like to see the latest Samsung Galaxy S2 Pink deals or take a look at the new Nokia Lumia 800 then please feel free to browse our website: Phones Limited.
